Due to the rad layout of our hostel, we are always able to accommodate groups together. Always. So, just ask.
Open seasonally, we are your destination for summertime fun, frolicking, and fab. We also deal in awesomeness. From May 1 through to the close of September each year, we rock it like no one’s business. You know what it is we’re laying down. And, if you don’t, come find out.
Pricing:
We’re cheap, and surprisingly easy. Dorm beds all cost $25 CAD, taxes included. We have no private rooms. Repeat: The Fat has NO private rooms. Sorry. We recommend reservations. You can make a reservation by phone, post, email or via several hostel booking engines found on the Internet (hostelbookers, hostelworld & travellerspoint). Please note that a 48-hour cancellation notice is used at The Fat Salmon. Thanks. We accept cash or travellers cheques, all in CAD only. Obviously. I mean, duh, we are in Canada, aren’t we? And, there are several bank machines within easy strolling distance (TD, Bank of Montreal, RBC, CIBC). Very low drama with us, tell you what. You’re welcome.
And, new this season, are flash Fat Salmon t-shirts. Priced to move, they’re only $20 a pop – and, yes, we do sell them over the internet, so drop a line if you want one. Apparently, all the cool kids have them, from coast to coast, and continent to continent. Toddlers to men’s XXL. All colours of the rainbow. Like we say, at the Fat Salmon, you CAN buy cool.
